Have you ever asked God for something and for some reasons he delays in answering? You feel sort of ignored, unloved, throw tantrums when and however?
Yeah? Me too.
Have you ever considered the timing of the request? Maybe it’s probably not the best time due to certain things beyond your control?
No? Me neither.
Did it occur to you that God’s time’s the best and that His plans for you are good and not evil to give a hope and a future? And that whatever it is we ask in His name, it shall be granted?
Often times we fail to acknowledge that God has his plan and if our’s doesn’t align with His, there will be friction. There are times when I choose not to accept that God has His plans simply because it’s convenient not to. And so when I ask for certain things and He doesn’t ”answer” instantly, I get upset, angry other times. It’s not like He doesn’t want us to have those things, no because He says He wishes above all things that we prosper and be in good health even as our soul prospereth. So He definitely wants the best for us. But as the Alpha and Omega who knows the heart of men, because you’re His child, He’d rather delay especially if He knows you’re not ready for it, until you can handle it. That’s why when we pray, they sometimes don’t manifest immediately until several years later. Again, timing’s everything. What if peradventure, He answers and you lose yourself in the process, how will you feel? How do you think He will feel? That phrase, ”Delay isn’t denial” doesn’t get any more real than it is.
”For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but
at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it
tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it
will not tarry.”
– Habakkuk 2:3(KJV)
”This vision-message is a witness pointing to what’s coming. It aches for the coming—it can hardly wait! And it doesn’t lie. If it seems slow in coming, wait. It’s on its way. It will come right on time.”
– Habbakuk 2:3(MSG)
